I had an anxiety driven dream last night. I was going to work on the train and I fell asleep – a really deep sleep, because I was exhausted. When I woke up the train was at the end of the line (it was hours later), my purse and phone had been taken, and all my cards were scattered under my seat (strangely the numbers had been cut out of the card, instead of the person taking the entire card.) Dream thieves are so weird.
So by the time I finally got to work I couldn’t for the life of me figure out the number I needed to call to report the stolen cards. In fact, the rest of the dream was just my worrying about how I was going to close my accounts.
The moral of this dream? I need to go to sleep.

Oh! I just realized it’s St. Patricks Day. “Erin go Braugh!” will be seen on signs all over Manhattan today. It means “Ireland forever” and is pronounced “Erin go bra.” I always giggle to myself because I like to pretend the phrase is directed to me. What do you want, world? Put a bra on, take a bra off? I don’t know. Do any other Erins’ think this is amusing?
Probably not. Happy St. Patricks Day!
