This is what we’ve been living with since BC got his gorgeous dresser for our bedroom. That basket all too quickly became a dumping point. I didn’t hold back here, this is exactly how things began piling up.
We had a lot of discussions about how to remedy this dresser dilemma. BC maintained that he wanted easy access – i.e. no containers that required opening.
I went antiquing with some friends in Greenpoint, Brooklyn last weekend (more on that next Friday!) and came home with an absolute genius solution.

BC was initially skeptical.

But he came around – the finished product is too sweet and functional, to boot! I love love love the green color of the toolbox. It perfectly compliments the Steven Beckly print hanging over our bed.

Add the candle and candle snuff I bought at Cire Trudon and the peacock picture I bought at Les Puces de la Porte de Vanves, plus the vase I got at Film Biz… it turned out to be a good equation.
And though we don’t close the toolbox often….

…It’s nice to be able to! Have a great weekend!
